Besides painting old barns and farms, I also especially like painting old houses. The inspiration for this house came from the many old stone and brick houses in historical Galena, IL. I decided on a quiet rural setting from my imagination for this painting.

The vast emptyness in the background highlights the image. I'm no pro on art. But I'm sure that your work can be highly rated.
