Little Old Country Church Painting

 

I like to paint simple country landscapes and fairly often use red poppies in my scenes.  I had not painted an old church for quite a while now, and have had an idea to paint one, for a couple of months now.  I decided on a yellow sky for this piece, with its simple white church, with gothic arched windows, white cross on top, with red poppies around.  I used Turner's yellow for the sky, as this is my favorite shade of a natural yellow for painting.  To see more of my original landscape and animal paintings, please visit my web site at: www.francegallery.net.
