I have been working on a new series of paintings in smaller sizes on masonite panels and stretched canvas. Working smaller and on a smoother surface like masonite allows me to paint in a more impressionistic style than I normally use on stretched canvas. For this 10 x 8 inch painting I used gessoed masonite and went for a slightly surreal feel to the landscape. I hope that you may enjoy viewing my new paintings as much as I enjoy creating them!
