This is another of my small 7 x 5" landscape paintings done on a masonite panel. I decided on a grove of old trees for this quiet poppy filled meadow scene. I find a certain sense of mystery about a grove of trees that have been left in a field or meadow. This meadow is under one of my big blue skies filled with clouds floating by on a beautiful summers day.
