Old Farmstead of the Heartland
This is one of my larger pieces that measures 36" x 18" and is done on a deep stretched canvas with the edges painted a solid color to match - so no framing is necessary! I went with a very simple composition for this painting, so that the old farmhouse and red barn would be the main emphasis - without any unnecessary elements in the piece. My painting style is often a mixture of realism and the abstract. I paint mainly from the memories and impressions that I have - of the rural landscapes that I love. I hope that you will enjoy viewing my art work!
